Blackwell at the Richmond Fair - Saturday September 15th!!

Opening for Shane Yellowbird tomorrow night at the Richmond Fair - Saturday, September 15th, 2012! Downbeat is 8:30 PM. It's going to be a fabulous night. Join us there! Here are a few of the songs that we'll be singing!

Blackwell Rockin' the Fall Fairs!!

This has been an exciting five or six weeks for the band. We started the fall fair season out with concerts at the Navan Fair. It was a great night despite the torrential downpour! Everything was soaked...especially the band... but the sound techs rallied like the pros they are and had the stage ready for the David Wilcox show! Luckily by that time the rain had subsided and the night was beautiful!! Here are a few shots. Notice how far back on the stage we had to move to stay out of the rain!

We then began preparing for the back to back concerts at the Kinmount Fair in the Haliburton Highlands (two shows) and the Shawville Fair (two shows), where we opened for the great Terri Clark for a crowd of over 10,000 people. Both events were spectacular. Here is a shot of the Shawville Fair.

Tonight we're packing up and heading down the 401 to Beamsville tomorrow morning where we are headling the grandstand show tomorrow night 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM...and then Sunday afternoon we're at the Russell Fair.... 2:30 PM- 7:00 PM Whew! This is fun...ya ... gotta love country music!

Next week we're at the Richmond Fair (September 15th) opening for Shane Yellowbird! Show times 8:30-9:30 PM and 11:30 - 1:00 AM!
